Stratos Wireless introduced the uniquely designed HiPer™ family of products which caters to the specific needs of organizations with two or more locations that require reliable high speed connectivity between them.

HiPer is designed to perform as a durable high speed wireless network bridge between two or more locations.  The product is highly scalable to accommodate growth.  HiPer is well suited to perform as the primary campus connectivity for corporate WANs and Intranets, and will also provide solid active redundancies for multi-location connectivity.

This family of products operates under FCC spectrum licensing within the United States, and internationally with country-specific spectrum licensing.  Stratos Wireless handles the licensing process and carries full responsibility for operating within these specific bands.  By operating within licensed band guidelines, HiPer delivers a high performance, dependable deployment, and stable operation of point to point connectivity.

HiPer™ 50.  This entry-level connection is superior to a DS3 point-to-point, and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination.  The product is offered for locations up to 9 miles apart and may be ordered with the option for future upgrade to higher

HiPer™ 100.  This is comparable to a VLAN wireline point-to-point connection, and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination.  Offered for locations up to 8 miles part.

HiPer™ 200.  This is equivalent to a 2xVLAN wireline point-to-point connections, and is delivered with a choice of CAT6 or fiber Ethernet terminations.  Comparable to delivering 2x100Mbps connections with two Ethernet ports. This product is offered for locations up to 5 miles apart.

HiPer™ 300.  This is equivalent to a 2xVLAN wireline point-to-point connections, and is delivered with a choice of CAT6 or fiber Ethernet terminations.  Comparable to delivering 2x100Mbps connections with two Ethernet ports. This product is offered for locations up to 5 miles apart.

HiPer™ 1000.  Our Flagship product matches fiber capacity, and is delivered with fiber termination.   This product is offered for locations up to 2 miles apart.

Product Application

HiPer product family is the perfect solution for connecting two or more locations with a highly reliable, scalable network connectivity; with a 50Mpbs licensed link to a full 1Gigabit licensed link.

HiPer could also be used as backup connectivity to an existing private fiber or DS3 landline between locations.  The system, by design, is highly resistant to earthquakes and thus is an excellent backup system.  HiPer systems are unaffected by trenching, cable cuts, and ILEC/CLEC internal equipment failures.

In campus environment, the HiPer system allows for extending the LAN system between all buildings which facilitates sharing of IT resources and infrastructure.
