Stratos Wireless introduced the uniquely designed HiPer-Lite family of products which caters to the specific needs of organizations with two or more locations that require connectivity between them.

HiPer-Lite is designed to perform as a wireless network bridge between two or more locations. The product is highly scalable to accommodate growth. 

This family of products operates in the unlicensed spectrum within the United States. Stratos Wireless performs a spectrum analysis of the area to mitigate interference problems. HiPer-Lite delivers a fast dependable point-to-point connectivity between two locations

Product Details
 

	HiPer-Lite 1.5.  This entry-level connection is superior to a T1 point-to-point connection and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination. The product is offered for locations up to 10 miles apart.
	HiPer-Lite 3.  This is comparable to 2 bonded T1s point-to-point connection and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination.  It is offered for locations up to 10 miles apart.
	HiPer-Lite 6.  This is comparable to 4 bonded T1s point-to-point connection and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination.  It is offered for locations up to 10 miles apart.
	HiPer-Lite 10.  This is comparable to fractional DS3 point-to-point connection and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination.  It is offered for locations up to 10 miles apart.
	HiPer-Lite 20.  This is comparable to fractional DS3 point-to-point connection and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination. It is offered for locations up to 10 miles apart.
	HiPer-Lite 45.  This is comparable to full DS3 point-to-point connection and is delivered with Ethernet CAT6 termination. It is offered for locations up to 10 miles apart.

Product Application

The HiPer-Lite product family is the perfect solution for connecting two or more locations with highly scalable network connectivity ranging from 1.5Mbps to 45Mbps link.

It could also be used as a backup connectivity to an existing private DS3 landline between locations. The system, by design, is highly resistant to earthquakes therefore it is an excellent backup system.  It is unaffected by trenching which can result in cable cuts, power outages, and ILEC/CLEC internal equipment failures.

In the campus environment, the HiPer-Lite system extends the LAN system between all buildings which facilitates sharing of IT resources and infrastructure.

For those organizations that have outgrown their existing point-to-point T1 or bonded T1s, this product is the optimal solution for the immediate needs for a fully scalable system that can grow with the organization to a full DS3 capacity.
